Dr. Stephen Ng specialises in orbital, oculoplastic, and lacrimal surgery. With a background in general ophthalmology, including cataract surgery, Dr. Ng brings extensive expertise to his practice at Hamilton Eye Clinic.

• FRANZCO, Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (1997)
• Fellowship in Orbital, Oculoplastic & Lacrimal Surgery, Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, England (1999-2000)
• Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand Society of Oculoplastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (2002)

Dr. Ng is involved in research on skin cancers around the eye, eyelid reconstruction techniques, thyroid eye disease, and public health demand in ophthalmology.

He is a Consultant Ophthalmic, Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgeon at Waikato Hospital and has held several leadership positions within the ophthalmology community, including serving as the Clinical Leader of the Ophthalmology Expert Advisory Group for the Ministry of Health, Chair of the New Zealand Branch of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, and Chair of the Save Sight Society of New Zealand. Dr Ng. has also been an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Ophthalmology at the University of Auckland since 2002.
