With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Stephen Guest is a skilled ophthalmologist specialising in cataract surgery, medical and surgical retina care, and uveitis. 

He has performed thousands of cataract and retinal surgeries, with a particular focus on macular surgery, retinal detachment surgery, and the management of macular degeneration.

An active member of the American Society of Retinal Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, he is a senior lecturer for the University of Auckland Department of Ophthalmology and has also been recognised as an Educational Trainer of Excellence in New Zealand three times.
